In the morning I’m headed to the mountains for a silent retreat. For those of you who know Buddy Odom…he leads these two day retreats pretty regularly. I don’t really know what to expect. I just know that all I can bring is a Bible and a journal. Normally when I go away I like to take 30 books with me, and maybe I open a few of them, but for the most part it just leads to spiritual ADD.

So I guess I’ll be entering the silence tomorrow. I’m excited. I’ll let you know how it goes!
